FortID, by TBTL

Digital identity,
without the exposure.

HOW IT'S STRUCTURED

Three components, one stack

Separate components for issuing, holding, and verifying credentials, built to the same standard so they interoperate without extra integration work.

FortID Issuer

Creates and delivers credentials

Issues a credential against a schema — PID, mDL, or custom — straight to the holder's wallet.

FortID Wallet

Holds and selectively shares credentials

Stores credentials on a device and discloses only what's asked for — live on Google Play and the App Store.

FortID Verifier

Confirms credentials against policy

Starts a QR-based session, the holder authorises what to share, and gets back only the cryptographically confirmed result.

BUILT ON

Open standards

None of this runs on a format we invented. A credential issued by FortID can be read by someone else's wallet, and a wallet built on FortID can present a credential to someone else's verifier — including the EU's own official reference wallet — because everything follows the same public specifications the rest of the EUDI ecosystem builds against: the OpenID protocols for issuing and presenting credentials (OpenID4VCI, OpenID4VP), the SD-JWT and mso_mdoc credential formats, the EUDI Architecture Reference Framework, and ISO/IEC 18013-5 for mobile driving licences.

OUT OF THE BOX

Core EUDI credentials

Personal Identification Data (PID)

Core identity credentials, ready out of the box.

Mobile Driving Licence (mDL)

Issued and verified to the ISO/IEC 18013-5 standard.

Custom schemas

With selective disclosure, for credentials beyond the EUDI set.
